I have a Master’s degree in Clinical and Health Psychology – specializing in Psychopathology and Dynamic Psychotherapies – from the University of Coimbra.
My clinical practice has focused mainly on adolescents, adults and the elderly.
I have also worked with young children and in couple therapy.
I have promoted mental health in a clinical context, including the management of emotional factors present in specific illnesses (such as back pain) but also in diffuse psychosomatic conditions (fibromyalgia, migraines).
In this context, I have carried out neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation.
In addition to clinical psychology, I have worked with marginalized and vulnerable populations, including drug addicts and refugees.
I’ve been involved in project management for the social sector and recently I’ve been volunteering for social causes.
Psychotherapy generates resistance and doubts in the patient, but it is undoubtedly the best route to symptom remission.
Even more so, for achieving individual freedom.
As if, somehow, it were also possible to learn to fall.
