Supervision
This practicum is exclusively for clinical psychologists or graduates of the clinical psychology course.
It is a component that forms part of a health professional’s continuous training, allowing them to acquire enriching knowledge and perspectives during their clinical practice.
Supervision is a methodology that dates back to the days when Freud and his followers would come together for joint analysis sessions on certain cases, gaining new insights into the patients’ psychic dynamics and possible lines of therapy.
Supervision preserves the patient’s anonymity and its ultimate aim is the professional development of the technician, as well as increasing safety in the line of therapy being carried out with the patient.
