"An Anthropologist on the Couch"

Event developed by the Sigmund Center in conjunction with anthropologist Paulo Granjo.
“The search for peace, stability, balance, certainty, security, well-being and predictability is, along with the impulse to survive, a common concern.
Anthropologist Paulo Granjo bears witness to this permanent struggle to overcome the uncertainties, dangers and threats that surround us, confronting belief systems that are either separated (geographically, ethnically and culturally) or concentrated, maintaining bridges of understanding, dialog and translation between them.
In the book launched in (2024) she exposes and shares a succession of losses, challenges and recompositions in which professional and intimate life intertwine in the construction of new and old knowledge.
What can sociology, history and psychology learn from this?”
