I have a degree in psychology and a master’s degree in developmental psychology from FPCE-UC with a specialty in clinical and health psychology, recognized by the Portuguese Psychologists’ Association.
I am currently in advanced training as a psychodynamically oriented psychotherapist.
To date, I have carried out institutional work in the areas of social/community reintegration and education.
I have been working in private practice since 2011, providing psychotherapeutic support to children, adolescents and adults.
As a clinical psychologist with a psychodynamic orientation, my intervention is guided by the sensitivity and humanism of the tools and techniques of psychoanalysis.
If psychic illness has an essentially relational basis, it is through the therapeutic relationship, welcoming and sensitive to the pain of others, that they find the possibility of healing and reparation.
